Group of enthusiasts look to make city more pickleball friendly

Pickleball could be coming to a court near you. At least it will if a local group of sports enthusiasts have anything to say about it. The group has been working with the Chippewa Falls Parks and Recreation Department on plans to turn part of Buchanan Park into pickleball courts. “There’s a huge demand for this,” said Parks Director Dick Hebert as he met with some enthusiasts at the south-side park on Main Street.
