How do I determine my rating or skill level?

You must register at your legacy rating.  This does not mean you can’t play up.  If you do not have a legacy rating you need to follow this process:

Email a request to be self-rated at your determined skill level (click here to view the rating definitions) to Ratings Admin@USAPA.org. During the UTPR Player Review Phase(s) if you believe:

  • The UTPR is accurate:You may use your UTRP as the foundation for your request. Please be specific in your email and indicate in your request, that you feel the UTPR is accurate and you would like to use it as the basis for your legacy rating.
  • The UTPR is not accurate: You may request a different rating per the rating definitions and must provide a letter of support from one of the following people familiar with your game:

o    an experienced USAPA Tournament Rated Player

o    a USAPA Tournament Director

o    a USAPA Ambassador

If you do not obtain a USAPA legacy rating prior to October 31, you will be withdrawn from the tournament.
