Beautiful Pickleball Transformation Taking Place in Biloxi, Mississippi

Through the diligent efforts of the Biloxi Parks and Recreation department, local businesses and numerous volunteers whose love of pickleball knows no bounds, helped make the transformation of four unused and dilapidated tennis courts into a sparkling new outdoor facility dedicated solely to the sport of pickleball. The project was completed in two stages with the first six courts completed in 2018 while the remaining courts were open for play in the late fall. The area is quickly becoming a hotbed for the sport as indoor locations are also available for play and is free thanks again to phenomenal community support. There are close to 400 pickleball players in the greater Biloxi area and the number is steadily climbing.
